The 15-year-old has been part of the fabric of the Horsham and District Soccer Club since 2005.
Macchia – who plays in the Falcons’ under-15 side - will play his milestone game against North United Black in Ballarat.
The Falcons will look to remain undefeated in what has been an impressive start to the 2015 season.
The club was formed in 2004, and Macchia joined shortly after, blossoming from a sprightly five-year-old who showcased a raw passion for the game.
He now boasts an impressive arsenal as a hard-running, attacking midfielder.
He has netted more than 100 goals over the course of his career at the club and has been selected twice to take part in the Country Championships.
Macchia said his favourite moment was a strong victory over Forest in 2014.
However his goal is to taste finals success.
‘‘A highlight was our 10-1 win last year against Forest,’’ he said.
‘‘I got four goals and it was one of only two wins for the season and our best win at that time.
‘‘My goal now is to win a league final. I would also love to play in a higher-level competition.’’
The Falcons’ club only entered the Ballarat and District Soccer Association in 2009 and was quick to find success.
The under-17 side took the title in 2011.
Club vice-president Gavin McRoberts praised Macchia and his contribution to the Falcons.
‘‘It’s a really big achievement and all credit to him for sticking around and loving the game so much,’’ he said.
‘‘He’s a well-liked player and well respected too.
‘‘Young kids look up to him as inspiration.
‘‘He never gives up and he’s always trying to go the extra mile.
‘‘I can’t say enough about him.’’
The club is urging new players to get involved in the junior and senior line-ups ahead of matches on Sunday.
Training is on Wednesday and Friday nights at 5.30pm.
