Wimmera Health Care Group, Meritum Financial Group, Warracknabeal Pharmacy, Horsham Community House and St John of God Pathology Horsham were among the groups that hosted events to raise money for the Cancer Council.
Harvest Church in Horsham hosted a morning tea for its Busy Bees playgroup.
Warracknabeal, Stawell and Kaniva libraries all hosted Biggest Morning Teas.
Wimmera schools including Horsham West Primary School and Ararat West Primary School also got involved with the initiative.
Horsham Visitor Information Centre hosted a morning tea last week for volunteers.
The Wimmera raises thousands of dollars for cancer research and support for patients and their families each year.
Thursday was the official date for this year’s morning tea, however, events can be hosted any time during May and June.
