The festival saw hundreds of people flock to the hotel for the third annual event.
Creekside Hotel owner and organiser Sally Gebert said the festival drew more than double the number of people as last year's event.
"We had people lined up at the door at noon, ready to come inside," she said.
"People loved the food, the entertainment was great and there was such a happy vibe in the air."
The food festival gave people a chance to visit 14 specialty food cooking stations to sample foods such as the popular Creekside paella.
Mrs Gebert said a low and slow barbecue was one of the day's highlights.
"We cooked brisket and pork on the barbecue for 12 hours and it was a huge hit," she said.
"The vindaloo was also popular and so were the caramel-filled donuts - we just about sold out of them."
Beer and wine tastings were also a highlight.
"The tastings went through the roof," Mrs Gebert said.
"It is great to be able to introduce people to different wines they haven't tried before."
The festival included children's activities such as a jumping castle and rock-climbing wall.
"It's a fantastic day - a massive day, but where else would you rather be?" Mrs Gebert said.
The event coincided with the inaugural Warracknabeal Open for Inspection weekend, which featured 11 events designed to show prospective residents what the town had to offer and encourage them to move to the area.
The weekend's activities included a race meeting, monster garage sale, burnout competition, a roller derby display, Yarri Links community tree-planting day and a fishing competition.
Mrs Gebert said the open day helped bring more people to the region for the weekend.
"There was so much happening in Warracknabeal, it was great to see," she said.
The festival finished with a fireworks display at 7pm.
Mrs Gebert said it was the perfect way to end the day.
