The teenagers' car crashed into a tree on Phillip Road around 5.30pm, police say.
The third teenager, a male, was treated at the scene by paramedics and was taken to hospital.
Avonsleigh is a small town east of Emerald, about an hour-and-a-half's drive from Melbourne. It has a population of about 800.
