Regional directer Ewen Nevett said new barrier railings has been installed to improve safety.
He said the improvements comply with safety standards and would benefit drivers.
“Run-off road crashes make up a large part of annual statistics in rural Victoria” he said.
“These new barriers aim to maximise safety for drivers by preventing run-off road crashes.”
Mr Nevett thanked the community for their patience during the roadworks.
“More than 3000 vehicles travel across the bridges, located west of Dimboola, each day with more than 40 per cent of those being commercial vehicles,” he said.
Mr Nevett said the project was part of Vicroad’s Western Highway upgrades between Stawell and the South Australian border.
