Murtoa Senior Constable Emma Taylor said there was damage done to a public toilet on Marma Street in between June 25 and 26.
She said damage was done to the public toilet at the Murtoa Swimming Pool toilet near Breen Street two days after.
Sen Const Taylor said police believed the incidents were related.
She urged anyone with information to call Murtoa police on 5385 2252 or Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.
