Murtoa Senior Constable Emma Taylor said someone forced their way through a secured window on Munro Street on June 26 and July 1.
Sen Const Taylor said building materials, worth about $65, were stolen from the property.
She said the house was being renovated and there was no one home at the time of the break-ins.
Sen Const Taylor said police were also investigating a theft at a residential property on Lake Street overnight on Wednesday July 1.
She said someone broke into a locked outhouse and stole a spray backpack, worth $100.
Sen Const Taylor said no one was home at the time.
