Berry excelled throughout the championships for Vic Country as a rebounding defender.
The team finished the championships undefeated after posting an 8.15 (63) to 4.7 (31) win against Western Australia on Thursday.
The All Australian team was announced on Sunday, with Berry named on a half-back flank.
He becomes the second Wimmera footballer in two years to be named to the under-18 All Australian team as a bottom-age player at the championships.
Fellow Horsham Saint Darcy Tucker completed the feat last year.
Tucker was a key contributor for Vic Country again this year as a top-age player and was in contention for All Australian selection, but did not make the final team.
Berry said he was thrilled to top off Vic Country’s gold medal performance with All Australian honours.
“I was very surprised when I found out, but I was stoked – absolutely rapt with it,” he said.
“I definitely didn’t think I was in All Australian form, but I had an alright last game which helped me out a bit.”
Berry is not eligible for the AFL draft until next season.
He said he still had plenty of work to do to be picked at next year’s draft despite the All Australian honour.
“It does help you out a bit, but I still have to perform next year and there’s a lot of hard work to come,” he said.
“Hopefully I’ll get into level two of the AFL Academy and work from there.”
Vic Country talent manager Phil Partington said Berry had a bright future ahead.
He also said Tucker had not damaged his chances of being picked at the AFL draft this year despite not being named All Australian.
“The way Jarrod went about his national carnival, his prep, rehab and the games he did play, you can see how he's improved and thought about his footy,” he said.
“He's the ultimate professional, as was Darcy when he was an underage player last year.
“They're two boys we think will be fine players in the future.”
