Centre manager Steve Clark said the annual event was a fundraiser for the YMCA’s Open Doors initiative.
“The money raised goes towards assisting those within our community who don’t have the financial capacity to apply for YMCA programs and services,” he said.
He said the centre ran about three pool parties per year, in July, November and January.
Mr Clark said Sunday’s pool party featured the more activities than previous years including aquatic dodgeball, basketball, bombing competitions and noodle races.
He said the centre also had three giant inflatables at the pool.
Mr Clark said children could participate in similar activities for another pool fun day on Wednesday.
