Sixty-one women attended, with 12 apologies.
Author Jacqueline Dinan gave an enlightening talk about her book Between the Dances.
It was great to hear about women who did tasks usually done by men during a time when both were in active service.
Members could buy copies of the book after the talk. Jacqueline was presented with a small gift as a token of thanks.
Members enjoyed a catered morning tea followed by a business meeting.
New member Sonia Matthews spoke about her life.
Sonia was born in Horsham and later worked in Stawell at the post office, then Ararat as a travelling telephonist.
Kelcey Corp has resigned to the regret of members.
Seven women celebrated birthdays in June.
The club is looking at an outing around Horsham in a small coach in August.
