Nhill Air Show subcommittee convenor Andrew Kube said Nhill Aviation Heritage Centre members decided to host the event in October after two successful fly-ins.
The show will coincide with the 75th anniversary of the Royal Australian Air Force landing at Nhill to use the aerodrome as a Second World War training base.
Subcommittee secretary Janine Grover said the advertisement had more than 4000 views on Friday.
It will show on television closer to the event.
She said the air show was shaping up to be a big event.
"It may be the Nhill Air Show but it's for the whole region," she said.
Mr Kube said people could travel to the air show from Melbourne in a vintage DC-3 plane as well as sponsorship opportunities for businesses and individuals.
He encouraged people to visit nhillairshow.com.au for more information.
