LAHARUM turned around a two-point deficit at three-quarter-time to beat Noradjuha-Quantong by the same margin in Horsham District A Grade netball competition at the weekend.

The Mountain Maids and the Bombers could not be separated for the first half, locked at nine all at quarter-time and 17 all at the main break.
Noradjuha-Quantong started to pull away in the third quarter to have their noses in front at the final change, but the Mountain Maids came back fighting in the fourth to score eight goals and hold their opponents to four to take the match.
Emma Uebergang and Baylee Miller were stand-outs for Laharum, while Brooke Pay and Olivia McDonald fought hard for the Bombers.
The win keeps Laharum in third spot and in the mix for a finals double chance.
But the Bombers have dropped from fourth to fifth, just four points clear of Pimpinio.
Harrow-Balmoral crept into fourth spot with a big win against Taylors Lake, 51 to 17.
Last year’s premiers took a little while to get settled, but put the foot down from the second quarter to run away with the match.
The Lakers are yet to post a win this season.
Edenhope-Apsley maintained its hold on top spot with a 41-30 win against Rupanyup. The Saints led at the first change but a second-quarter comeback from Rupanyup had them in front by four at the main break.
But the Saints remained steady and took back control in the third.
Emma Ryan continued her stellar form for the Saints, while Sarah Jude also performed well.
Jodie Hayes and Gemma Morgan were pivotal in the midcourt for Rupanyup.
The Panthers sit seventh on the ladder but can still make finals.
Swifts got their fourth win of the season against Kalkee, 35-30.
The momentum swung throughout the match, with the Kees getting the early break.
Swifts showed their mettle to turn their quarter-time deficit into a one-goal lead the main break.
Tight defence from Emily Patterson and Nicole Harding ensured the Swifts got over the line.
Tara Jasper and Coco Ledgar were the Kees’ best.
Pimpinio climbed into sixth spot on the ladder with a 49-13 win against Jeparit-Rainbow.
The Tigers jumped out of the blocks early and were eight goals up at the first break.
They restricted the Storm to just nine more goals for the match as they went on a scoring spree of their own.
The win puts them four points behind Noradjuha-Quantong.
