STUDENTS from Haven Primary School, Natimuk Primary School and Laharum Primary School came together on Wednesday to celebrate Book Week.

Natimuk Primary School principal Ingrid Clarkson said grades prep to four students participated in a parade on Wednesday morning.
She said the students dressed as their favourite book character for a parade including students from all three schools.

Mrs Clarkson said the students then listened to stories Pig the Pug and Rivertime and participated in art activities.
“It’s a great time to focus on reading and to read great stories from terrific authors,” she said. “It’s also an opportunity to see what the illustrator’s role is to convey the author’s message.”
She said the activity was part of organised group days between the three schools
Mrs Clarkson said the Natimuk prep and grade one and two students read Dr Suess stories throughout the week.
