Daffodil Day is one of the Cancer Council’s largest annual fundraising events.
Cancer Council Victoria’s Horsham branch will be selling daffodil merchandise at the Horsham Plaza on Friday and Saturday.
Secretary Dawn Hobbs said the group had raised money for research on Daffodil Day for several years.
“Without the money they can’t keep going,” she said.
“The sooner we can find the cure the better – that’s what we’re aiming for.”
Coles Horsham will host a staff morning tea on Friday to celebrate the event.
Manager Mark Mason the store would also stock a range of merchandise for the public to purchase.
“It’s a great cause,” he said.
