Only 100 students from Victorian primary schools are chosen to attend the convention.

Another student, Grace Crawley, was also selected but had to withdraw due to ill health.

The convention follows on from last term’s school unit on local, state and national government that also included a trip to parliament house.

The three students will spend the day at parliament house listening to keynote speakers, taking part in discussion groups and holding a soapbox session and vote on resolutions.
