Under-17s coach Tim Chatfield said the side was looking forward to its big game against Noradjuha-Quantong.
“We have a good bunch of young players and plenty of diversity, with the kids playing at all different levels,” he said
“They have been a great bunch of kids to coach week after week.
“When we started this journey, we always had finals in mind. We focused on the little things to ensure we could achieve our goals.”
Swifts forward Kyle Ryans will be a key player after he finished the season with 100 goals from 16 rounds.
Meanwhile, Sam Raeck finished third in the league best and fairest, showing the quality of their list.
“To win the grand final on Saturday would tick all the boxes,” Chatfield said.
“The good thing about this season is that we have had 22 contributors and that will hold us in good stead for Saturday.
“Training has stayed the same throughout this week as we prepare for the big day.
“We remained undefeated throughout the home and away season and now we have just one more job to do – win and bring home the premiership cup.”
The Baggies won’t be able to take the Bombers lightly if they want to finish their season without a loss to their name.
To do that, they must not be complacent. All 22 players on the ground need to be hungry for success.
“It will be a big challenge for our kids, but we just need to do what we do best and run, which has been our strength,” Chatfield said.
“If we do that and play well as a team, we can bring home the cup.”
Swifts president Ian O’Donnell said the club was proud of its junior sides’ achievements.
“The Swifts are very proud of the achievements of the under-14 and under-17 football teams this year,” he said.
“We congratulate them for it.”
