The Bombers entered the game off the back of an unbeaten home-and-away season but could not drag themselves across the line in a frantic final few minutes.
Noradjuha-Quantong led by a goal at the first change, but trailed from that point on in a match where it was difficult to pick a winner.
The Saints led by three goals at the main break and by the same margin at three-quarter-time as they held off numerous charges by their opposition.
In a tough final quarter, the Bombers managed to claw their way back into the fray, locking the scores together at 25-apiece.
But they could not find a way to hit the front as the Saints had the decisive answers.
Noradjuha-Quantong’s Jess Reinheimer was named best-on-court in the losing side as Jenna Wills netted 22 goals for the Bombers.
Wendy Cryer goaled 17 times for Edenhope-Apsley.
The one-goal, 28-27 result was the opposite of the second semi-final clash where Noradjuha-Quantong claimed a 30-29 victory against the Saints to progress to the grand final.
The Bombers were not the first side on grand final day to fall at the final hurdle after entering the big dance unbeaten.
