The two teams finished in the top-two spots on the Wimmera Netball Association ladder, with the Warriors losing just the one game for the home-and-away season.
Stawell and Horsham met in the second semi-final, with the Demons outlasting the Warriors by 10 goals to ensure Stawell had to take the long road to the decider.
Warriors’ co-coach Jodie Hendy said her side was quietly confident it could win.
“We did beat them earlier in the year and then they trounced us fairly convincingly when we went to Horsham,” she said.
“They were undefeated for the past couple of years until we beat them, so they’re definitely the yard-stick.
"We’re the underdog but we’ve got a good chance.”
Hendy said Stawell would try to undertake an attacking game-style.
“We’ll really be looking to score,” she said.
“We’ve got to shoot well to win so we’ll be really focusing on our attacking end.
“We’ll be looking for full-court pressure and trying to maximise that.”
Demons coach Sheridan Petering said her side boasted a few finals debutantes, but said the experienced campaigners in the line-up would be important in settling the team’s nerves.

“Everyone’s really excited. We’ve got a couple of girls who haven’t played a lot of finals before,” she said.
“We’ve got Mel Scott, who’s one of our strongest defenders. She’s in the ring with a girl who hasn’t been in finals and has taken her under her wing.”
Petering rated the Warriors as a difficult opponent to play against, and said the Demons would need to be at their best to claim the premiership.
“They are a very tough team and we can’t afford to take our foot off the pedal at all,” she said.
“We’ve got to keep the momentum with us.”
