About thirty riders took part in the Horsham Distinguished Gentlemen’s Ride on Sunday.
Organiser Jenni Papst said the day was spectacular.
“There was magnificent machinery, ranging from antique BSA motorcycles to more modern, retro bikes,” she said. “All the riders were dressed up in their dapper finery.”
Dimboola’s Paul Newcombe and Swan Hill’s Tony Donahue were named the most dapper riders. One rider, Mick Harrison, raised $2500 by himself for the cause.
“A great deal of awareness was raised and it was a fantastic result,” Mrs Papst said.
“More money was raised per rider in Horsham than majority of other rides around the world.”
