A bushfire that destroyed a home in a regional town south-west of Geelong has been brought under control.

Country Fire Authority crews were called to a scrub and bush fire in Wensleydale, near Winchelsea, shortly after 3pm on Monday.
It took dozens of firefighters more than three hours to bring the blaze under control.
A CFA spokeswoman said a small bushfire was travelling slowly in a south-easterly direction from Casboults Road towards Knights Track.
The CFA dispatched 22 fire trucks and two aircraft to the scene.
The spokeswoman said the fire had covered an estimated nine hectares, and an investigator was due at the site on Tuesday evening to try and determine the fire's cause.

The blaze marks an early start to the state's bushfire season, as temperatures soared above 35 degrees on Monday.
The CFA have declared Tuesday a Total Fire Ban across most of Victoria, advising people living in areas at risk of fire to activate their bush fire plan.
