The two-day swap meet will kick off on Saturday at the Dimboola Recreation Reserve.
Organiser Peter Hutchinson said Saturday was the main day of the event.
“We will have the show and shine from 11am,” he said.
“Judging will start about 1.30pm.”
The day will also feature sight traders, food and drink vendors and children’s activities.
“We have a good number of traders this year - probably about 100,” Mr Hutchinson said.
“There is also a jumping castle for the kids.
“It will be a real family oriented event.”
Mr Hutchinson described the weekend as a mix and match of car parts and collectables.
“We will have great weather by the looks of it,” he said.
“We had good weather last year and it was a great event.
“Last year we had about 750 people through the gates and we are hoping for similar numbers this year.”
This is the sixth annual Dimboola Swap Meet.
“There seems to be more and more at the event each year as we go along,” Mr Hutchinson said.
“The first few years we had suffered bad weather, but it is improving.”
Mr Hutchinson said organisers hoped visitors would not be deterred because of other events in the Wimmera.
“We have some competition with the Nhill Airshow this year, but hopefully people can call in on the way to Nhill and support both events,” he said.
