Agricultural and Pastoral Society secretary Judi Armstrong said the day was excellent.
“We had beautiful weather and a great crowd,” she said.
The show hosted the Victorian sheaf tossing championships.
Ms Armstrong said there was a good number of entries in the competition.
The show also featured sheaf tossing events for women, open and novice.
Ms Armstrong said another highlight was Avoca’s Irene Harmsworth, who drew cartoon portraits of people.
“She was wonderful,” she said.
“The portraits were very popular, especially with the children,” she said.
The day also included a reptile and snake show, trampolines, animal nursery, games and rides.
It was the 129th annual Warracknabeal Show.
