Two people have died after their boat capsized near Warrnambool in Victoria's south west on Friday morning.

The 18-foot boat capsized near the Warrnambool breakwater nearly 150 metres offshore, The Warrnambool Standard reported.
Witnesses on the shore saw the boat capsize in rough seas about 10am and raised the alarm.
An Air Ambulance was immediately called in to help search for the occupants of the boat.
Soon after, two men, believed to be in their 70s, were pulled from the water unresponsive, police said.
Their deaths are being treated as non-suspicious.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
