Ararat goal attack Megan Shea claimed the fifth Heather Hatcher Medal of her remarkable 17-year netball career at the Wimmera Netball Association best and fairest count on Monday night.

Shea, 25 votes, edged out Horsham player-coach Zoe Heard, who polled 23 votes, in an exciting finish.
Heard polled maximum votes in two of her last three games, but it wasn't enough to beat the Ararat veteran.
Minyip-Murtoa's Polly Hammerton and Stawell's Emma Henry finished close behind Heard on 22 votes apiece.
Shea said she didn't play netball for the accolades it was all about having a good time on the court with her best friends.
"My aim is just to play netball every week and catch up with the girls," she said.
It is the beginning of a massive week for Shea, who will join her Ararat A Grade team-mates in Saturday's grand final against Horsham.
"It would be amazing to win the grand final this weekend," she said.
"I have played juniors with five of the girls that I'm currently playing with, so we've been around for a long time.
"I know there's a few people that may not play in the coming years, so it would be special to win a premiership while everyone is still around."
Shea said it was the most competitive finals series she had been involved in, but looked forward to the challenge of facing the Demons.
