The World Chocolate Masters is a biennial event that was on in Paris from October 28 to 30.
The world now has a new chocolate master is – France’s Vincent Vallée.
Gourmet chocolate brand Cacao Barry hosts the event, which unites 20 participating countries from around the world.
Competitors first prove themselves during the national selections, then represent their country during the world final at the Salon du Chocolate in Paris.
Australia might not have been involved, but that doesn’t mean we can’t admire the chocolately goodness on display.
Each masters finalist had to create a two-metre-high showpiece, ‘haute couture’ pralines, the chocolate snack of the future and more.
