Mavis was a member of Red Cross for 23 years.
Horsham Red Cross members catered for a successful dinner in October when Brendan Stemp of McKenzie Creek was the guest speaker.
It was held at the Uniting Church hall and about 60 people attended. Brendan was an excellent speaker explaining how he crafted a ladder for Australia’s winning entry in the Chelsea Flower Show in London in 2013.

Brendan donated a beautifully crafted pepper mill as first prize in the raffle. Red Cross members donated other prizes. A total of $1360 was raised for Red Cross.
Red Cross members catered for the Border Leicester ram show and auction on November 9.
Secretary Cheryl Linke and long serving Red Cross member Claire McKenry laid a wreath on behalf of Red Cross at the cenotaph on Remembrance Day.
A garage sale will be held on Saturday, November 28 and members discussed plans for their Christmas luncheon on December 14.
