Chairperson Darren Chesterfield announced her appointment at the community service organisation’s annual general meeting on Thursday.

“Wendy has successful led organisations through challenging times,” he said.

“She has worked in the fields of autism, mental health, suicide prevention, men’s health, disability and violence prevention.” 

Ms Sturgess will start work with the agency on December 14.
