Poetry readings, singing, dancing and instrumental numbers were on the menu for attendees of the 12th annual Richard Morris Memorial Concert in Horsham.
The concert is a tribute to the late Richard Morris, a keen supporter of performing arts in the Wimmera.
The concert also includes the presentation of a $1000 scholarship to assist a Wimmera person in their performing arts dream.
Horsham singer Carly Jenkins took home the Richard Morris Memorial Scholarship this year.
She is the 12th recipient of the award.
Concert organiser Jan Morris said said Miss Jenkins showed passion for her performing art in her application and also performed on the night.
"She's been involved in the Richard Morris concerts for years," she said.
"She sung beautifully."
One of the original organisers of the concert Kristy Ward, presented the scholarship to Miss Jenkins.
Guitar musician Nick Robertson and dancer Joel Kimberly received honourable mentions.
Mrs Morris said the concert itself was a success.
"It's always brilliant and different," she said.
"The atmosphere in the audience was the best we've ever had.”.
Mrs Morris said she and her team which included a number of family and friends, hoped to put together an even bigger and better show next year.
She encouraged any unsuccessful scholarship applicants to try again next year.
