Branch member Venie Jolley said Heta Holm, 17, always wanted to travel and was now living her dream.
“She is enjoying her time in Horsham and trying to take everyone opportunity that she comes across during her year in Australia,” she said.
Heta described volunteering at Riding for the Disabled as one of her greatest opportunities.
“It was a lovely thing to see how the riders, and also the horses, enjoyed working together,” she said.
“I hope there is an Riding for the Disabled branch in my home city in Finland as well.
“Everyone should have a chance to do what they enjoy.
“It was great to spend the time with the volunteers and watch the riders on the horses.”
