The centre will host a pool party on Sunday afternoon.
Aquatic centre front line co-ordinator Jake Carr said the day would feature a range of fun activities including games, music, competitions and access to giant inflatables.
He said there would also be food and drink available.
Mr Carr said the party doubled as a fundraising day for the YMCA’s national Open Doors Foundation event, which supports disadvantaged people and people with disabilities.
“Some of the money goes towards people who can’t afford to do our programs,” he said.
The foundation gives people access to a range of programs including swimming lessons.
Mr Carr said the aquatic centre hosted several pool parties each year, and attendance numbers generally relied on the weather.
He said centre staff hoped to see a big turn-out for the party which will be on days before the official start to summer.
“The more people we get through the doors the more money we can raise,” he said.
The Horsham Aquatic Centre pool party is from 12 to 3pm Sunday.
Mr Carr said the event had a focus on fun for children, however, people of all ages were welcome to join in on the fun.
“The event is for anyone who wants to participate,” he said.
He said children under 10 would need to be supervised by an adult.
Mr Carr said pool party entry was $6 which included all of the activities, food and drink.
