“This gift card is ideal for anyone and can be used for any gift giving occasion as well as a staff incentive reward for businesses," Business Horsham executive administrator Wendy Mitchell said.
“It’s perfect for that ‘difficult to buy for situation’ as well because the gift card can be redeemed at over 60 participating businesses in Horsham.
“It takes the guessing game out of what to buy for someone because the gift recipient can choose from the any of the participating businesses to redeem their card.”
It is a way to support local business while giving your gift recipient a great choice of Christmas gift.
Mrs Mitchell said the ‘Shop Horsham’ cards do not replace a business' own gift voucher.
“It just gives them another opportunity for dollars through their door as it is competition for the many non-local, multi-national cards that are sold throughout Horsham,” she said.
With a wide range of stores offering goods from clothing to gift ware, outdoor and sport equipment to furniture, Wimmera residents should be able to find something to suit their individual needs and tastes in Horsham.
Everyone can support the ‘Shop Horsham’ gift card, available for purchase from the Horsham Newsagency, which has generously agreed to sell the card on for Business Horsham at no cost.
The gift cards are available in $20 and $50 values.
The participating businesses at which the cards can be redeemed are listed on on the Business Horsham website.
The card also has a QR code on the back which takes the phone savvy straight to the list of local businesses where the card can be used.
“This gift card is ideal for consideration for your staff’s Christmas bonus ensuring their ‘bonus’ is spent locally," Mrs Mitchell said.
