Golder and her horse
11-year-old anglo,
Moet produced the ride of their lives to win the highly-acclaimed competition.
They finished with 174 points out of a total of 200.
The entrants were judged on a number of categories including costume, riding ability, general appearance and grooming.
Golder said it was a great feeling after putting countless hours of work and preparation into the event.
"On a normal day I would be up at 6am," she said.
"Before and after work I ride my horse, clean the stables and make sure the horses are fed at the right time.
"It's certainly full-on preparation, but I really love it and I want to put everything I can in, to succeed."
Golder labelled the win as the highlight of her equestrian career.
"It was really nice to be recognised and rewarded I was just thrilled to win," she said.
She left for Melbourne yesterday to compete in her next event, the Royal Melbourne Show, in a bid to win the Garryowen Trophy.
Following the competition in Melbourne, she will take part in the Wimmera equestrian circuit.
