She will represent Australia at the World Ultimate and Gut Championships in London from June 18 to 24. It has been three years since Tink started her Ultimate Frisbee journey.
Making the open age team marks her second Australian selection since she represented the green and gold in the under-23 team.
The star athlete said the selection meant she had reached her top goal in the sport. “I am really excited for it because it was something I set for myself when I started getting heavily involved in the sport,” she said.
“But I was pretty shocked to make it in the first year out of the under-23 team, so I feel I achieved a lot.”
The games in London will see 121 nations represented, including 31 in Tink’s mixed section.
Tink attended Kaniva College and grew up in Bordertown but now lives in Melbourne where she works and trains.
