The round 12, A Grade clash will mean a lot to both sides as they look to lock down ladder positions ahead of finals.
A single point is all the separates Homers from Horsham Saints in second place following the Pigeons loss in round 11.
Jung meanwhile, can assure itself fourth spot with a first innings victory.
Tigers’ captain Tyler Neville said getting the points would be a major focus heading into the game.
“I think it is probably the goal every week to bat 75 overs,” he said
“Teams that do that win more than they lose.
“It would be great to have a finals spot locked down before we play Rup-Minyip in the last round.”
Both teams are in the unique position of having had a very recent look at each other, following their one-day clash, adding another element to the match.
The Pigeons outclassed the Tigers in their one-day semi-final on Sunday.
Neville said his side would be looking at the many positives that came from the loss in an effort to get the points on Saturday.
“We made more runs in that game than the two previous games combined,” he said.
“We were 3-110 so if we can be there again this weekend, it will set-up the innings.
“Sam Leith made 30 odd runs. which is great for a young kid that’s 15 to 16-years-old.”
The Tigers will possibly be hampered by some expected changes to the side across the two weeks of the two day game.
Homers’ skipper Lachie Jones said his side would be able to welcome back Jarred Combe and David Johns into the side to play Jung.
He wants the Pigeons to focus on bowling better lines, unlike some of the expensive overs they coughed up early in their match against the Tigers on Sunday.
“I just don’t think we can bowl the areas we bowled on Sunday,” he said.
“We will just see how the first hour plays out, whether batting or bowling, it is a good indication of how it will all pan out.”
