It hosts the Mountain Men at Murtoa in their second last clash for the season.

It has been a tough year for the developing side and it must now take on top three side Laharum in its next two day game.

With finals a certainty for the Mountain Men, they can use the last two games to get players into form before the business end of the year.

Veteran Josh Mahoney said you only go one chance at the semi-finals stage.

“It is good to get guys into form before finals” he said.

“Some blokes have made some good runs for us and Dan Mibus is bowling well through the back half of the season.

“It is just a matter of priming up for finals now and getting into form because you only get one shot at it.”

Mahoney said the Mountain Men needed to lift their effort in the field ahead of finals.

“It is one of the bigger things because can’t afford to drop in-form batsmen,” he said.

In Sunday’s one-day semi-final they dropped Saints skipper Tony Caccaviello, who made them pay by scoring a fast 50 at the end of their innings, ending Laharum’s one-day season.
