Organiser Yolande Grosser said church groups in the region asked people to donate a tin of Milo as part of a March Milo drive for the college.
The tins will be used on Wednesday and Thursday morning at the college when the school’s chaplaincy runs a free breakfast.
Mrs Grosser said she was surprised and overwhelmed by all the tins that were donated.
“We were inundated with tins and we still have more to pick up,” she said.
“There were tins of all different sizes – big ones, little ones and gigantic ones I didn’t even know existed.
“People said they saw tins on special and bought them.
“Others just threw a tin into their trolley with their other shopping.
“It’s been a great way to show support and care to Horsham College students.”
Mrs Grosser said the Milo would benefit lots of students because everyone was welcome at the breakfasts.
“There is nothing better than cupping a warm Milo on a cool autumn morning,” she said.
