ONE person was taken to Wimmera Base Hospital in Horsham after a two-car crash on Stawell Road on the edge of the city.
Horsham Senior Constable Andrew North said two four-wheel-drives were travelling west towards Adelaide just before 10am on Friday.
“The first car stopped to indicate to turn into the Hock-Inn Garage Sale, and the car following behind did not see the indicator,” he said.
“This car hit the vehicle in front, causing it to cross to the east-bound lane and roll onto its side.
“The male driver in the first vehicle was looked over at the scene by ambulance officers and was uninjured.
“The car that was following had two female occupants. The passenger was taken to hospital for observation, and the driver was uninjured, but accompanied her friend to hospital.”
Sen Const North said all three people were from South Australia.
“We believe it’s a fatigue-related incident,” he said.
“Both drivers tested negative to alcohol.”
Ambulance, police, State Emergency Service and Country Fire Authority crews were at the scene.
The road was closed to traffic in both directions for about 45 minutes while the scene was cleared.
