THE Country Fire Authority is investigating a blaze that damaged a Stawell home on Thursday morning.
The authority’s district 16 operations officer Archie Conroy said it was too early to determine the cause of the fire, which started at a home in Mahnke Street after 9am.
He said crews had the fire under control in about 20 minutes, but remained on scene for a couple of hours mopping up.
He said the home was extensively damaged and was unliveable.
He said no one was home at the time of the incident.
