The Rats defeated Horsham Demons by 26 points last Saturday, with Matthew Spalding booting three goals. Flynn Jamieson and Jack Driscoll added one major each in the 5.4 (34) to 1.2 (8) victory.
Driscoll was named best on ground while Brenton Lewis, Kaiden Walton, Blade Wells, Max Allgood and Luke Spalding all received an honourable mention for their efforts.
Ararat’s under-17 side suffered its second loss in 2016, going down to the unbeaten Demons by 13 points. Cooper Heard booted four goals while Baydn Cosgriff, Fraser Hamilton, Logan North and Paddy Turner featured among the Rats’ top players.
Ararat reserves had a tough day, losing to Horsham by 64 points.
