The night raised $2500 for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Horsham’s Stacey White was diagnosed with BRCA1 gene and has been through chemotherapy and a bilateral mastectomy.
Mrs White and her friend Lorinda Baker wanted to raise money and awareness in the community for breast cancer.
Hotel publican Nick Murray said the fundraiser was massive.
“The keg ran out within about 90 minutes, which was the quickest ever,” he said.
Keg for a cause is an initiative where the hotel donates a keg, patrons pay what they want for their drinks and all the money raised goes directly to a cause or organisation.
Mrs White said it was a great night.
“I haven’t laughed so hard in so long,” she said.
“It's amazing the support my family has received throughout the past few months.
“They are so close to a cure, every dollar helps to fund the research.”
Horsham Amcal Chemist, Wimmera Meat Market and the Davidson family donated prizes for a raffle.
Mr Murray said anyone wanting to be involved in keg for a cause could email info@exchangehotel.pub.
