The round 11 clash will take place at Jeparit.
The Panthers face a difficult task as the bottom of the table team is set to meet a Storm side sitting comfortably in third position on the league ladder.
Panthers coach Scott Finnigan said the side was hoping to see the return of some injured players ahead of the clash.
Zac Taylor will miss the game through suspension.
Panthers Cameron Taylor, Nicholas Reading, Mark Tickner, Ben Curtis and Daniel Garner are all in doubt for Saturday’s game after round 10 and previously existing injuries.
“We’ll be testing a few of them at Thursday night’s training. It’s not ideal,” Finnigan said.
“Obviously the Storm is a very good side and they’re in good form by all reports.”
Finnigan said his side would endeavor to maintain a positive mindset.
“It was a shame to get beaten last week after working so hard with no bench in the final quarter,” he said.
“It was disappointing so we have to try to remain positive.
“We’ll also need to be mindful of the start of the game.
“We’ll be looking to the whole unit and we can’t let them get a jump on us.”
