The questionnaire was part of a VCAL project the students had to complete. It aimed to get a general view of the health and wellbeing of residents in Stawell.
“The information we received will be assessed and we will be running a health and wellbeing forum later in the year,” Esther Richards said.
Jack Rutter said that the survey was completely anonymous.
“I hope the Stawell community can complete the survey and join us for the forum to hear the results and information we have found out,” he said.
“Hopefully it opens up the way that some of the community think.”
The students are working on the project with the aid of VCAL co-ordinator Chad Frost and Central Grampians LLEN youth project officer Sarah Garton.
“We are looking forward to seeing the results of the survey and presenting a relevant and very useful forum for the Stawell community,” Ms Garton said.
“When the students approached me with their idea I was very impressed and happy to work alongside them.
“The students will look at what areas are concerning in the area. It will be interesting to see the results, especially because everyone is focused on ice at the moment.”
The survey is available to complete online via StawellCommunitySurvey.
