The Victorian umpires team travelled to Queensland arriving to beautiful sunny weather on Saturday alongside team manager Kingsley Dalgleish.
Jackson has officiated three games as a boundary umpire. Dalgleish has umpired two games as a field umpire and one as a boundary.
“We’ve had lots of positive feedback from coaches and players. They’ve really acknowledged the kids well,” Kingsley Dalgleish said.
“The kids have been fantastic which has made my job as manager really easy.
“We’ve had two days of competition so far and now we are enjoying a rest day at the Australia Zoo.”
Games will resume on Wednesday and Thursday and a rest day set for Friday ahead of Saturday’s finals.
“Both Jackson and Seb are both performing really well,” Dalgleish said.
