The Burras have had strong form all season but come into the match off the back of a loss to Horsham.
Coach Vicki Burke said her side will need a consistent performance to beat Stawell.
“They are playing composed and patient,” she said.
“They’ve had some ripping games in the last few weeks.
“We’ll need to lift our pressure in order to cause turnovers to create opportunities.”
Despite beating Stawell convincingly during the regular season Burke will not underestimate the side.
“Finals is always a different matter,” she said.
Stawell coach Toni Stewart heads into the game aware of the difficulty that lies ahead.
“They’re going to be really hard,” she said.
“They are a lot taller than us and hard at the ball. We need to limit our turnovers, treasure possession when we have it and then capitalise on any of their turnovers.”
Both coaches suggested the mid court battle would be crucial to the result.
“We need to be on because they play strong through the middle,” said Burke.
Stewart’s side is bolstered by the way it has won.
“It helps knowing that if we’re down we can keep chipping away,” she said.
“We’ve got nothing to lose so we’ll just. We know anything can happen in a final.”
