More than 350 students from Victoria and New South Wales will attend the camp, which runs from August 30 to September 2.
Horsham College teacher Jeremy Dover said the project would help students with leadership skills and understand more about their culture.
“There are different topics they focus on like language and identity,” he said.
“The students that have been selected are young leaders in the indigenous community, so the camp will be very important for them.”
The four-day camp will be run by indigenous elders from the Mungo area.
“It will be quite amazing, us as teachers will be able to get a background on their lives as well,” Mr Dover said.
Sue Lawson is another teacher who will be attending. Ms Lawson is the indigenous liaison officer at Horsham College.
