Lowan, 6, and Drayland, 4, decided to help out the abandoned and surrendered canines by providing them with a free feed.
The pair travelled to Ballarat with their mother Codey Gregory to buy the food before delivering it to some hungry dogs.
Mrs Gregory said she had decided to teach the children a valuable lesson about giving to others.
“I have four kids and I was trying to teach them it is nice to give which is a bit of a learning curve,” she said,
“We went for a trip to Ballarat, so they could choose what they wanted to donate to the dogs.
“They got to meet to rescue dogs and they definitely went home very happy.”
