The Minyip-Murtoa Burras have progressed through to the Wimmera Netball League A Grade grand final after defeating Stawell at Ararat on Saturday.

The Burras started favourites and wasted no time showing why as the side went on to record a 64-23 victory.
Burras coach Vicki Burke was pleased with how her team played.
“The girls performance was just really solid,” she said.
“Everyone on the court performed their roles and had a real focus.
“They realised it was time to bring it and they did.”
Burke said her side had a big week of soul searching after losing to Horsham Demons in the semi-final.
“It really brought us together and we were tuned in this week,” she said.
Kirby Knight shot 44 goals in a composed performance the impressed both coaches.
Burke said her play was phenomenal in a final.
Stawell coach Toni Stewart said she has never seen her play that well before.
“Sometimes she can be inconsiten,” she said.
“She really turned it on.”
Stewart said here side had gone into the game with a game plan but couldn’t carry it out because of the Staunch Burras defence.
The loss ends Stawell’s impressive late season run on a sour note.
“It was disappointing to go out with a score like that,” Stewart said.
“But we’ve been playing finals since round 13 and everything since then has been a bit of a bonus.”
The Burras will play the Demons in the grand final who will be looking to go one better than last season.
“We deserve a crack,” Burke said. “We still believe that we can beat them.”
