Donald defeated Charlton by 29-points in the qualifying final on Saturday to book a spot in the reserves grand final in two weeks. The final score was 10.9 (69) to 6.4 (40).
St Arnaud was also successful in moving through to the grand final in the under 16s. The side led from start to finish to defeat Charlton 12.4 (76) to 8.8 (56).
Donald also tasted success in the under 13s by defeating Boort 4.6 (30) to 3.10 (28) to move on to the grand final.
During the week, Donald’s Ross Young finished third in the seniors best and fairest count. He was 12 votes behind the winner, Boort’s James Orr.
