In the seniors it will be the Charlton Navy Blues taking on Wycheproof-Narraport Demons from 2.30pm at Lord Nelson Park.
The Demons were the benchmark side all year but a single loss late in the home and away season at the hands of Donald showed the team was beatable.
Charlton managed to slip into second spot on the ladder in the closing rounds after Donald slipped up against Boort in the second-last round of the season.
A top-four finals format meant the two grand final opponents met in the second semi-final in Birchip.
The Navy Blues were too strong for the Demons on that day as the side ran out 11-point winners in a low-scoring match.
The Demons defeated Birchip-Watchem Bulls in the preliminary final to get another chance in Saturday’s grand final.
Charlton will chase the club’s first senior premiership since 2009, despite having played in the previous three grand finals.
The Demons’ last premiership win was in 2010.
The reserves grand final will be a contest between Donald and Boort with the bounce at 12.35pm.
Boort have come from third to make the grand final while Donald finished the reserves home and away season in second place.
St Arnaud’s under-16 team will get a chance to play in front of its home crowd when the side faces off against Charlton to decide the 2016 premiership.
The bounce for the under-16 game will be 10.55am.
Donald and Boort will face off in the under-13 grand final from 9.30am.
