Huebner finished in fifth position in the women’s 100-metre breaststroke event.
Huebner placed third in the qualifying heat in just over one minute and 42 seconds.
She went on to beat her time in the final, finishing in just over one minute and 40 seconds.
Fellow Australian Tiffany Thomas took home the gold medal.
Huebner finished in ninth position in the women’s 50-metre butterfly event with a heat time of 42.80, narrowly missing out on a spot in the finals.
Mother Heather Huebner said she was pleased to see Tanya in the breaststroke final, beating her personal best time.
“We were excited for her to beat her personal best,” she said.
“We were also happy for young Tiffany to break her own Paralympic record in the final. They will be a happy team.”
